Artist Information

Olivia Harper is an emerging artist. She has an honors degree in Visual Arts, which she obtained from the University of South Australia in 1997. She has also studied painting and drawing at Adelaide Central School of Art. In 1998 she established artist studies in Thebarton. Olivia exhibited most recently during SALA week in Bloom at Kinotolai Gallery 99 Hindley St. Adelaide and in 2001 an Art Odyssey at 26 Leigh St. Adelaide.

She paints a feminine perception of space with an emphasis on internal perception and visceral experience. Her work uses transparent layers, hues from one image dripping across the other dreamy, suggestive of intimate and highly personal subject matter relating to the artists life.
